Sovereignty
A nation-state's sovereignty applies not only to determining its own form of government but also to being free from interference by outside powers. The principle of sovereignty was established in Western history by the Treaty of Westphalia in 1648, at the end of the 30 Years War. The principle recognized the right of rulers to govern their own territories and not be controlled by other powers outside their territories.
Serbia supplied the rebels with weapons so that they could kill the archduke. Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia. Russia entered to defend Serbia because they both had large Slavic populations. Germany entered to defend Austria-Hungary. Alliances drew other countries in until it was a world war.

Pretty sure your answer is B. They didn't get equal rights until the 60's, I don't believe they were removed from jobs, and I'm fairly certain they wouldn't have done work without pay (The Great Migration is a good example of that).
