Answer:

<BCD = 128, <ECD = 52

Step-by-step explanation:

(3x + 5) + (x + 11) = 180

4x + 16 = 180

4x = 164

x = 41

<BCD is complimentary to <ACE which is (3x + 5). (3 * 41 + 5) = 128

<ECD is complimentary to <ACB which is (x + 11). (41 + 11) = 52.

Find the 7th term of the expansion of (3c + 2d)^9.
defon

Answer:

c

Step-by-step explanation:

Using Pascal's triangle, the expansion, although EXTREMELY lengthy, will help you find the 7th term.  I am going to type out the expansion only up til the 7th term (although there are actually 10 terms because we are raised to the power of 9).  If you would like to learn how to use Pascal's Triangle for binomial expansion, you will need to visit a good website that explains it because it's just too difficult to do it via this website.

The expasion is as follows (up to the 7th term):

1(3c)^{9} +9(3c)^{8}(2d)^{1} +36(3c)^{7}(2d)^{2} +84(3c)^6(2d)^3+126(3c)^5(2d)^4+126(3c)^4(2d)^5+84(3c)^3(2d)^6

That last term is the 7th term.  You find out its value by multiplying all the numbers together and adding on the c^3d^6.  Again those come from Pascal's triangle, and it's one of the coolest math things ever.  I encourage you to take the time to explore how it works.

PLZ HELP!! WILL MARK BRANLYIST!!! 30 POINTS!!
V125BC [204]

Answer:

The distance between the light and the actor's face is 29.24 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

In the attached photo, you can see where the hypotenuse, the opposite side, and and adjacent side are located from the given angle measurement which is 70°. Our known side length is 10 ft which is our adjacent side and our variable is the hypotenuse. So, we will use <u>cos</u>.

Cos=\frac{adjacent}{hypotenuse}

Let's plug in our numbers and variable.

(Cos)70=\frac{10}{x}

Since our hypotenuse is a variable, we are going to flip the equation so we can find the value of the hypotenuse which is also our variable.

x=\frac{10}{(cos)70}

Divide 10 by (cos)70.

<em>x = 29.24</em>

So, the hypotenuse is 29.24 feet which shows the distance between the light and the actor's face.
