How did michelangelo paint the frescoes of the sistine chapel?
AnnZ [28]
This is an ambiguous question: if you meant with what medium and implements he painted, it would probably be animal hair brushes and fresco (paint applied to damp plaster).
He stood (not lying down, as is popularly believed) while painting on wooden boards hanging by the building scaffolding by ropes, so that he was close to the ceiling.

What is the name of the art movement led by Gustave Courbet and what did it depict
cricket20 [7]

Answer:

The Paris Commune

Explanation:

The Franco-German War broke out in 1870, the Second Empire collapsed, and the Third Republic was proclaimed. On March 18, 1871, the republican Paris Commune was established to fight the Germans in France as well as to fight the Army of Versailles, which had remained loyal to Napoleon III and had concluded an armistice with the Germans that the members of the Commune judged to be dishonourable. Courbet, who had been recently elected president of the artists’ federation and was charged with reopening the museums and organizing the annual Salon, took part in the revolutionary activities of the Commune. Instead of opening the museums, he decided to protect the major public monuments, especially the Sèvres porcelain factory and the palace at Fontainebleau, for Paris had been under constant bombardment by the Germans. Alarmed by the excesses of the Commune, he resigned May 2.

during pre historic time, man has developed an architecture made of huge stone blacks intended for burial; what is the general t
zlopas [31]

Answer:

A. Megaliths

Explanation:

Megaliths are pre-historic architectural elements. They are placed like the monuments, sometimes connected with the place of the burial. Megaliths could be placed in a group (circle, wall, etc), or be just a simple stone making the monument.

The exact intend for the monument is still the cause of debate among the archeologist, though it is evident some are placed as the marker for the burial ground. Sometimes, they would even be made as a coffin to hold the bodies, and sometimes they would just mark the place of the grave. Yet, not all megaliths are tombs – there are many of them all over the world, and their function likely differs.

Probably the most known megalith is Stonehenge in the UK, which is Europe's most preserved group of megaliths in a circular form/
