Read the story. Robert liked to go fishing more than anything else in the world. He kept his fingers crossed every day, hoping t

hat his mother would want to go fishing when she got home from work. There were many times she did want to go, so they would pack up their poles and take a picnic dinner down to the river. Robert knew that someday he would be able to fish as well as his mother, but for now he was happy just to watch her, and sometimes he would catch a fish himself.
