The Glosary of Reading Terms

Explanation:

The study of reading is a science with roots in many domains; linguists study reading, psychologists study reading, educators study reading, even computer scientists are studying reading. The process of reading has been dissected and examined from a variety of perspectives, and experts in the field have had to adapt and modify terminology or generate new terminology to describe what their examinations have revealed.

Why does montag begin to yell and read on the subway?
Semenov [28]
Montag gets on the subway and starts reading the Bible, because he wants to memorize some lines from it. However, he is being constantly distracted and interrupted by an advertisement for Denham's Dentrifice toothpaste, as its jingle is played over and over again on the subway. He gets really mad because of it and starts screaming and yelling, before he leaves at the next stop.
