If your specific purpose were “to inform my audience how hurricanes develop,” you would probably organize your speech in chronological order. Because the topic is a sequence on how hurricanes develop, thus the speech must in chronological order.

EXPLANATION:

There are many types of speech based on its structure or pattern. They are a logical or topical pattern, chronological or sequence pattern, casual or cause and effect pattern, and many more. One of them, chronological or sequence pattern is a pattern of speech which includes sequenced events or chronologically ordered events in it. It tells about a series of event which happens continuously. One event occurs after one event is done or completed. An example is the development of a hurricane.

If your specific purpose of speech is to inform the audience about how hurricanes develop, you have to deliver the message in chronological order. First, you can start with the opening telling that you are going to deliver a speech about the development of hurricanes. Second, you could tell the audience that hurricanes begin with tropical disturbance. Third, you tell the audience that the second process of hurricanes development is tropical depression or cyclone. Fourth, you deliver to the audience that the next phase of hurricanes development is a tropical storm before it becomes the real hurricanes.

Once you deliver the speech step by step on how hurricanes develop, you are successful to make and deliver a chronological order speech. I hope it helps!

The answer is a chronological order. It is a technique of speech organization in which the key points follow a time pattern. A best example of chronological is a profile that starts in 1920 and goes over 1997. In this way, I will start telling they form near the equator over the warm ocean waters.

Orlov [11]

Answer:

The image emphasizes that mr. shiftlet lives in an uncaring world

Explanation:

A simile is the definition of something that resembles, is analogous or similar. That is, it refers to the comparison of two distinct objects, but which have common characteristics that approximate them, by similarity.

In the case of this phrase of "The life you save can be yours," the simile is used to compare the bad words in mr's head. shiftlet with vultures flying over a tree. The author meant by this simile that the thoughts of mr. shiftlet live in a different world from the real world and because of his thoughts, mr. shiftlet, is inserted in this different world.

A theme Shakespeare is communicating in Romeo and Juliet is
Natalka [10]
Well a theme that shakespeare in my opinion would be trying to communicate in romeo and juliet is think of it as of when romeo and juliet died well the questions why did they truly the way he put and how they died was not meant to be taken literal the point is that they loved each other that is a given but they were so committed and so sold on each other that it was difficult for them to see themselves without each other so he pointed out the situations and circumstances that go on in relationships and marriages is that couples go through so much and they fight lots and they have to handle so much that it's almost like they are killing each other and themselves they are so focused on what they want instead of thinking of the consequences that could happen see the consequence in this story was because Juliet decided to fake her own death not thinking of the consquences romeo therefor not being told about the situation sooner thought she was really dead thus killing himself and for romeo not thinking smartly and thinking well this isnt going to be the end of the world let me not kill myslef that when juliet woke up she killed herself thus creating the tragedy of the situation which points to real life......how couples seperate often times instead of dealing with the situation and trying to figure it out

kaheart [24]

Answer:

Hi! Ill discuss the answers in the explanation section as there are more than one.

Explanation:

1- What disturbing news does Mr, Kraler bring on New Year's Day? What hint does this give about the ending of the play?

Mr.Kraler says he is being blackmailed by a fellow worker and the possible thief from that night. That gives a hint that they are most likely not going to last in their hiding place.

2-How is Anne able to preserve her dignity and hope despite her suffering? Use evidence from the text to support your answer.

Making plans for the future, keeping good memories to look back at, and through human nature (everyone has a good side). She does this by reading and writing in her diary as seen in the book

3- What has the play taught you about how we remember the past?

This is more of a personal question but learning about the past is the best way to avoid repeating the same mistakes again
