One
It really isn't change that is the problem. Change of locale only triggers the problem which is shyness. Shyness isn't the problem either, really. It's what behavior is brought about once the shyness is triggered. I also think that shyness makes new friendships hard to establish. I think the best answer is probably the last one or the first one. It's very hard to pick. I'll go with the last.
Two: Scientific Writing
Anything to do with emotional writing is not the answer. That lets out B (most of the time). If you are trying to persuade that is not scientific writing. Scientific writing is just a presentation of the facts. Narrative writing is your second best answer. It is usually about an event. The best answer is expository writing which has a logical order and normally a conclusion. I'll go with D.
Three: Handwriting
Start with the last one. It is correct.
D might be true, but it would only be implied. It is not really mentioned at all in the paragraph. If you can only infer it, then it is not the best answer if you can get one that is actually stated.
B is incorrect. B is stated as mattering.
No where is it stated whether or not people care about their handwriting. I suppose it is true that you can judge personality by judging assessing handwriting. It's a big jump, but I'd pick A as your second answer.
Four: Information Essay.
Examples quite frequently use evidence. This is a time that I'm just going to give the answer. If you disagree, then use what you think.
The lessons that Orwell learns as a result of his experience with the elephant is option C: He realizes that imperialism can lead people to act against their own values.
Explanation:
Shooting an elephant is a symbolic story, which shows the attack towards imperialism. Orwell tries to say that imperialism benefits neither the imperialists or the countries that they try to colonise.
This story draws a parallel between imperialism and with him shooting the elephant,
He shoots the elephant because the people ask him to shoot it. He did it despite his better judgement ,and because of his action he suffered, seeing the painful death of the elephant.
This story draws a parallel with imperialism, as it shows that often the leaders are controlled by the masses as they much as they control the masses likewise, Orwell had to shoot the elephant because he was expected by the locals to do so.
