Answer:

this mutation may change the open reading frame of the resulting RNA sequence and its final product, which is a protein in the case that this gene is used to synthesize a messenger RNA (mRNA) sequence

Explanation:

During the transcription, a region of DNA named 'gene' is used as template to produce an RNA molecule, typically a primary transcript of mRNA (pre-mRNA). Subsequently, this pre-mRNA suffers a process named RNA processing in order to generate a mature mRNA which is finally used to create a protein by a process called translation. If a deletion occurs during transcription, it may change the open reading frame (ORF) of the resulting mRNA when the mutation occurs in an exon of the protein-coding gene (i.e., occurs a frameshift mutation), while this deletion may not have any effect if it is localized within the introns which are removed during RNA processing. A frameshift mutation will change the amino acids that are added to the nascent polypeptide chain during translation.

Give an example of a decomposed. Explain what would happen if decomposers were absent from a forest ecosystem.
DerKrebs [107]

Answer:

Some examples of decomposers include bacteria, fungi, and some insects. If decomposers disappeared from a forest ecosystem, wastes as well as the remains of the dead organisms would pile up, and producers (plants) would not have enough nutrients.

The typical characteristics for binge-eating disorder include binge-eating episodes
Illusion [34]

Answer:

a) not accompanied by purging

Explanation:

  • If a person has episodes of uncontrollable eating then the person is said to have a problem of binge eating.
  • When a person shows a tendency of frequent and recurring binge eating then the person is said to have binge eating disorder.
  • Binge eating disorder is differentiated from another similar problem which is known as bulimia nervosa.
  • In the case of binge eating disorder a person has a tendency of binge eating but without purging, unlike bulimia nervosa where purging is a characteristic feature.
  • Purging is an attempt to get rid of the excess food consumed and this attempt is not made in case of binge eating.
