English

Answer:

I believe that the independent ones are 3, 4, and 9. I think the dependent ones would be 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 10.

Explanation:

Independent clauses can stand alone as a sentence and dependent clauses cannot be on their own. They DEPEND on the independent clause to form a complete thought. For example, sentence number 5 says "the witness told the police <em>what she saw</em>". 'What she saw' does not make a complete thought on its own, so because it is dependent on the other part of the sentence, it is a dependent clause. On the other hand, in example number 9, "I am leaving" makes sense on its own so it's a independent clause.

How likely are many teachers to follow the sequence when a child asks "Where is the ant going?"?
Alex_Xolod [135]

Explanation:

  • <u>Many of them are following the sequence</u> that they have. This is a normal question for, usually, the fourth grade and its purpose is to awake the imagination in children and in that way teacher can see what is the knowledge of the children in the class and what is their point of view, can they describe their imagination in a proper way.

There is no wrong answer to this question and that is why this is one of the most interesting questions in the school. Teachers should always follow the sequence when it comes to this kind of question.

If anyone is struggling with English I'd be glad to help! I help anyone in any grade :)
Kamila [148]

Struggling very hard but it's not the ''Spell this or what is the definition''

You have to read a book, and then answer. It's very hard because I learn better when someone's with me or talking to me. Brainly doesn't always help because some of the answers are wrong. I've tried someone else helping me but they don't do what I do. It's K12, 6th grade
