Answer:

It’s been 60 days since the largest asteroid in history decided to hit earth. We already lived in a time of great poverty, 2031. I haven't had food in days and our water supply is scarce. It’s just Milly, Jason, and me now.

My parents said they'd be back soon with some more food, though its been 2 days since I last saw them. It’s cold and our fire is dying. I think it’s time to abandon our shelter and search for more survivors, but Jason and Milly think we should keep waiting for my parents to return. The next day, I say glumly to Milly and Jason, “ I don't think they are coming back.” As soon as I said those words it felt like I had been punched in the gut, just realizing what I had just said. A week later my parents still hadn't returned and Jason hasn’t even flinched in the past hour. I had a suspicion that he was very sick but Milly wouldn’t listen to me and said he was probably just sleeping. I looked at the river that started with just a cleft in a rock. I looked up at the misshapen tree we called shelter and thought of all the superstitions my mom used to have about misshapen trees. Maybe one day I’ll see her again, maybe.

Not a day goes by were I don’t miss the life I had. I never had a worry back then aside from when my next homework assignment was due. But now here I am sleeping on the hard ground next to two people I didn't even know before this all happened. It is a big change I can tell you that. My phone and watch stopped working after the asteroid collided with earth, but I believe that next week it will be New Year’s Eve. We wouldn't be able to do much for the holiday except for start a fire in honor of it. “Hey Milly, do we still have enough wood for another fire? ”I asked after sunrise the next day. “I think so", replied Milly. I glanced over to Jason who was sitting at the trunk of the tree. He started moving again but was very weak. When we realized that he was severely sick, we went to the nearest drugstore to get some medicine. He is still recovering, but he is much better already. “Why do we need another fire, we could just revive the one we have now", said Jason who to my surprise got up easily. He continued on, “we should scavenge for more wood.” “And risk leaving our campsite, no way.” Milly sat up with a sudden jolt as she talked. These two never stop fighting even when they know the other one is right. I wish they would stop, at least for a minute. “Well then Milly, what is your amazing plan to get us some more wood”, shot back Jason. I could tell he was getting agitated. “Don't get smart with me, Jason.” Milly likes to be in control of things. From what I know about her life before this all happened, she was a very good leader and a popular girl. Jason was a troublemaker and a jokester. Me, well I never fit in a “group” or at all really. I never liked school and I was a bit of a rebel. I wonder what will happen to us now, I guess only time will tell.

Answer:

Rosie Rabbit had always loved Beautiful Woods with its colorful, beautiful, Trees. It was a place where she felt happy.

She was a nice, funny, tea drinker brown and skinny hair. Her friends saw her as an adventurous, agreeable angel. Once, she had even saved a mushy kitten that was stuck in a drain. That's the sort of woman she was.

Rosie walked over to the window and reflected on her pretty surroundings. The sun shone like skipping bunnies.

Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Brad Bird. Brad was an excited friend with beautiful heart and brown hair.

Rosie gulped. She was not prepared for Brad.

As Rosie stepped outside and Brad came closer, she could see the mutated glint in his eye.

Brad gazed with the affection of 183 happy knowledgeable kittens. He said, in hushed tones, "I love you and I want to be her friend."

Rosie looked back, even more excited and still fingering the colorful tea cup. "Brad, you are the best friend ever," she replied.

They looked at each other with nice feelings, like two brainy, happy birds flying at a very cheerful holiday, which had flute music playing in the background on a sunset.

Rosie regarded Brad's beautiful heart and brown hair. "I feel the same way!" revealed Rosie with a delighted grin.

Brad looked kind, his emotions blushing like a brainy, blue-eyed look.

Daniel [21]

Answer:

The first passage represents nature as something wild and dangerous, by describing the yucca tree with some risky, violent and dangerous words, which are used to warn us about this plant and its characteristics.

On the other hand, the second passage represents nature as something soft, calm, and beautiful, by describing daffodils. Daffodils are represented as something delicate and beautiful, so the vision of nature is quite different from the first passage. In this case, nature is described as something soft and wonderful, completely different from bayonet-pointed leaves and a fence of daggers.
