Hey there!

The force of air. Let' think about this. The only way for air to flow would only be if first . . .

1.) there are high pressure for the air to have some direction do move from.

2.) and also from areas that carry high pressure BUT at the same time, they are slides back down to low pressure and from this, the pressure of air would rise.

Your correct answers from your options listed above would be the (second option).

The direction that the moving force of air flows from areas of high pressure to areas of low pressure.

I hope this helps you!

scZoUnD [109]

Answer:

B. People face trade-offs.

Explanation:

According to a different source, these are the options that come with this question:

A. Larry can use time most efficiently by spending the same amounts of time on swimming, biking, and running.

B. People face trade-offs.

C. People usually exploit opportunities to make themselves better off.

D. Larry has an incentive to spend more time on swimming than on biking or running.

The basic principle that these choices illustrate is that people face trade-offs when trying to decide what the right course of action is at any particular moment. In this example, Larry has three tasks that he needs to complete: swimming, biking and running. However, dedicating time to one of this leads to less time for the other ones. Therefore, Larry faces a trade-off. This concept is closely related to the idea of opportunity costs.

How might monarchs react to the ideas of the Enlightenment?
olganol [36]

Answer: Negatively

Explanation:

Enlightenment ideas were not completely against monarchs but did have problems with the absolute nature of the rule of said monarchs.

Before Enlightenment, monarchs generally ruled as they pleased with the logic being that they had the right to rule from God and so had the right to control the nation as their personal property.

Enlightenment was against this and instead espoused the logic that a monarch was only able to rule due to a social contract signed between them and the people whereby they would be allowed to rule provided they took care of their subjects.

Monarchs reacted to this with negativity because it meant that they had to stop being so selfish with resources and had to share power with the people. As time went on however, and with constant pressure on them, they had to relent and it led to the dissolution of several monarchies in Europe and the transition of others to Constitutional Monarchies.
