C.) because of its effects on the climate, specifically the slash-and-burn technique, experts expect for a great decrease in this practice in the coming decades. also urbanization in rural areas where shifting cultivation is practiced will is expected to cause a decrease in the amount of numbers of farmers who practice the slash-and-burn technique.
