Answer:

Breaking the Watergate story- After the break-in to the Democratic National Convention building, investigative reports began to research who was involved behind this break-in. This lead to one of the biggest journalistic events in US history. Thanks to the work of Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward, President Richard Nixon was exposed as being aware of this break-in and actually had a part in organizing it. This news story shocked America, as a president has never been linked to such an incident.

2) Release of the Pentagon Papers- These previously classified documents were released by different newspaper organizations (like the New York Times and Washington Post). This showed that the government had been lying to the American public about the progress being made in the Vietnam War.

Which line best helps the audience understand Kate's viewpoint that Eugene is disrespectful to her?
Rasek [7]

Answer:

(She yells out again) And I don’t want any back talk, you hear?

Explanation:

Kate's viewpoint that helps the audience understand that Eugene is disrespectful to her is seen in the above line:<em> (She yells out again) And I don’t want any back talk, you hear?</em>

From the interaction/dialogue between Kate, Blanche and Eugene, we discover that Eugene wasn't happy when he was told to put out the water glasses.

Blanche preferred to do it herself but Kate replied, <em>"Why? Is his arm broken? (She yells out again) And I don't want any back talk, you hear?"</em>

Then Eugene, <em>(Slams the ball into his glove angrily. Then he cups his hands, making a megaphone out of it and announces to the grandstands)</em>

Kate's statement that she doesn't want back talk actually reveal that Eugene is disrespectful; also, Eugene's angry disposition reveals that too.
