okay so I actually do weaving, the picture isn't mine because mine isn't finished
So, I'll try my best to explain, but basically you start off with any cord of your choice (I used brown natural cord) and a needle with the yarn through it, and at the edge (starting point) of the cord, cut off a piece at an angle so that the point is angled. Then (using a yarn of your choice) tie it around I guess 5-7 inches away from the tip, and you're basically going to start "rolling" the yarn over the cord, but towards your legs, not towards you. You do this repeatedly while covering the color of the cord, until you reach the tip of the cord. once you make it as far as you can, you grab the tip of the cord and I guess, flip the tip over the cord. This is hard to picture so if you look at the third picture, you notice how the cord is like bent like a noddle. That's what you do the cord starts out like a straight line, and then you grab the tip and bend the tip over the cord
Then from here on out, you are basically going to do a pattern, you created a hole by bending the cord, and you use that to guide you (you can do any size hole) and with your needle, you insert it through the hole every 7 times that you tie the yarn around the cord. but you insert it underneath the hole, not over
