My mom was always doing that, always claiming that she was looking out for my "best interests." I didn't really understand what

my "best interests" were back then. I couldn't see the mistakes I was making when I was in the process of making them. I guess that's how mistakes work. If you know something is a mistake, you probably won't make it, and since you don't know it is a mistake, you can't see it. Now that I'm a few years older, I can understand why she was worried about me. I can look back on my childhood and see all the things I did that kept her up late at night and gave her more gray hairs.

Answer:

Same.

Explanation:

I try really hard to impress my parents, but it seems like every time I am close to making them proud, I mess up and do something stu.pid.

I love them, but like, I want to live my life as ME, not as what they want me to be.

In at least one hundred and fifty words, identify two central ideas in David Lance Goines’s “Let Sleeping Dogs Lie,” and explain
Anna11 [10]
One central main idea in "Let Sleeping Dogs Lie" is murder, which occurs at the chicken house. Hank and Drover are invested into finding who is doing the killing throughout the selection. Goine uses the satirical form with the main idea murder when Hank is working traffic, then sees Plato and Beulah in Billy's pickup. He then tries to show off but in the process annoys Billy, which the results in him using the truck door to destroy the foor legged nuisanse over the ditch. By using satirical form Goine is able to create suspense and drama. The second central idea is darkness. Through all of the murder and despair going on the story is still entertaining andhas the reader on the edge of their seat. His satirical form again enhances the story through dramatic sarcasm.

Why wouldn't jefferson come out of his cell to see miss emma
Juli2301 [7.4K]

Jefferson would not want to come out of his cell to see Miss Emma if he would not be allowed to bring the radio with him. He had become so attached to the radio because it was his only link to the outside world.

At night, a lamp appears brighter to someone sitting near it than to an observer across the room.
egoroff_w [7]
In physics, intensity is described as the power transferred per unit area and its unit in the SI is watt per square metre (W/m2). As a result of that, any increase in distance from the originating source of energy, or in this case, a source of light, would decrease the intensity of the object. The shorter the sitting distance is, the brighter the light source would appear and at the same time, as the sitting distance becomes longer, the light source would appear to be of lower brightness.
