I put my phone down shaking my head, trying to ease myself back to sleep. The next morning I woke up to no alarm... I look around and realize it is bright outside. I look around frantically for my phone that I must've forgotten to plug in. When I find it, to my despair it's dead. "I'm late!" I declare jumping out of bed, falling over as I throw on my clothes. I run down the stairs and to the couch opening my computer to log in. My hair sticks straight up in a crazy mess. "How are you late, you literally work from home?" my roommate asks. "Less questions, can you throw me a bagel?" she sighs getting up from the kitchen table. I log in as fast as I can making sure to turn off my camera as I try frantically to tame my hair. "Catch!" I look up just in time for a bagel to hit my square in the nose. "Thanks," I mutter picking it off my lap. "Sorry, I'm late!" I say, of course, it's the morning we have the meeting on which department deserves a pay raise. "It's fine Jaxon, we were just getting started" I sigh in relief as I mute myself and take a bite of my bagel. A few moments later I hear Ali, my roommate, go "You have some- blo.od." she points to my mouth and I grab a napkin spitting out my breakfast. "Oh my god, I'm gonna pu.ke" she runs to the bathroom as three teeth sit in the palm of my hand. I feel around my mouth with my tongue my other teeth wiggle with the movement.
