Answer:

Explanation:

Gymnosperms are the non-flowering plants and produce seeds that are not enclosed within an ovary. they contain their seeds on the surface of the leaves and open to the air which is directly fertilized with the help of fertilization.

Gymnosperms include:

1) Cycads (division <em>Cycadophyta</em>): These are woody trunks, evergreen compound leaves. The example includes cycas.

2) Conifers (division <em>Pinophyta</em>): Theses are woody, cone-bearing shrubs and tissues with vascular tissues. Examples include Pines, Redwoods, Cedars. etc.

3)<em> Ginkgo biloba (</em>division <em>Gynkgophyta):</em><em> </em>These are a cylinder, large and fan-shaped leaves. The example is <em>Ginkgo biloba.</em>

What is antigen? What does it include? What is its function?
Varvara68 [4.7K]

Antigens are proteins that are found on the surface of the pathogen and are viruses, fungi, or bacteria. Nonliving substances such as toxins, chemicals, drugs, and foreign particles.  Antigens are usually carried by proteins and polysaccharides, and less frequently, lipids but it also needs to be attached to a large carrier molecule which is usually a protein.  When an antigen enters the body, the immune system produces antibodies against it. The Antigen stimulates the immune system to produce antibodies. YOUR WELCOME ;)

If a person with o blood type produces offspring with a person with b blood type, then what percentage of their offspring will b
Marysya12 [62]

Answer:

In humans, blood group is determined by three alleles I^{A}, I^{B}, and i.

I^{A} and I^{B} are co-dominant whereas i is recessive to other two.

Thus, if a person with blood group O produces offspring with blood group B then the other parent must contain I^{B} allele.

The genotype of other person can be I^{A}I^{B}, I^{B}I^{B}, or I^{B}i.

There is only one condition in which the person can have offspring with blood group O that is, when the other parent is I^{B}i.

In this condition, the probability of an offspring to have blood group O is 50%.

In other conditions, the probability of an offspring to have blood O is 0%.
