Help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee <br><br> &gt;_
nignag [31]

Answer:

good news, the second one is relatively easy because it can be factored to (2x+1)(2x-3) which means that number two has solutions of -1/2 and 3/2

but for number one you have to either use the quadratic equation cause I've tried using synthetic division or just use the second equation to derive the first solutions so I tried move the graph up by two units and found that the intercepts are approximately (1+-√2)/2 or 1/2+-1/√2 for 4x^2-4x-1

PLEASE HELP!! NO LINKS!! GIVING 20 POINTS AWAY!!
shutvik [7]

Answer:

m\angle N = 32\degree

m\widehat {NQ}=106\degree

Step-by-step explanation:

By inscribed angle theorem:

m\angle N = \frac{1}{2} \times m\widehat {MP}

m\angle N = \frac{1}{2} \times 64\degree

m\angle N = 32\degree

Again by inscribed angle theorem:

m\angle P= \frac{1}{2} \times m\widehat {NQ}

53\degree = \frac{1}{2} \times m\widehat {NQ}

2\times 53\degree = m\widehat {NQ}

m\widehat {NQ}=106\degree

She is serving hot coffee and cold coffee in two rectangular-shaped tanks, each with dimensions width 8.75 inches, length 8.75 i
Blababa [14]

The volume of the coffee in each tank will be 1760. in³. The mass of cold coffee and hot coffee will be 6163.29 oz and 10213.45 oz. Then the number of the tank placed on a table is one only.

<h3>How to find the density and volume?</h3>

She is serving hot coffee and cold coffee in two rectangular-shaped tanks, each with dimensions width of 8.75 inches, a length of 8.75 inches, and a height of 23 inches.

The hot coffee has a density of 5.8 oz/in³ and the cold coffee has a density of 3.5 oz/ in³.

Then the volume of the coffee in each tank will be

We know that the dimension of both tanks is equal. Then the volume will remains equal.

Volume = L × B × H

Volume = 8.75 × 8.75 × 23

Volume = 1760.9375 ≅ 1760.94 in³

Then  the mass of the coffee in each the tank will be

The mass of hot coffee will be

Mass = Density × Volume

Mass = 5.8 × 1760.94

Mass = 10213.45 oz

The mass of cold coffee will be

Mass = Density × Volume

Mass = 3.5 × 1760.94

Mass = 6163.29 oz

Then the number of the tank placed on a table is one only.

More about the density and volume link is given below.

A company ships packages through the postal service. One week, the cost of shipping one
DanielleElmas [232]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

For this problem, it says that the company not only shipped packages, but also bought a number of stamps. From the equation 6.70+0.50x, it's fairly easy to say that 6.70 is the packages,

What's not so easy is figuring out whether or not 0.50 is the stamps, or x is. However, there's an easy way to figure it out!

From this one, we would have to use "common sense" (not my words, someone elses). Using "common sense", we have to think, can someone buy 0.50 of a stamp?

Technically yes... But would someone buy 0.5 of a stamp? Not really.

So we can safetly assume that x is the "stamp", and 0.50 is <em>the cost of the stamp</em>.

Hope this helps!
