3 0

Answer:

B. "I was benevolent and good; misery made me a fiend. Make me happy, and I shall again be virtuous."

Explanation:

The theme, "Each person contains good and evil" means that we all have two sides embedded in us and it is shown based on challenges, situations, treatment and things we are being subjected to during the cause of our living. The good side manifests if the world around us isn't cruel or trains us to be good and compassionate while the other side also manifests if the world treats us with horror and hence becomes part of us.

dexar [7]

Answer:

homeroom

Explanation:

In Avi's novel "Nothing But The Truth" we meet Mr. Lunser in Phillip Mallory's school.  Mr. Lunser is Phillip's homeroom teacher for a time.  He is a easy-going guy who is not very disciplined with his class.  He tries to be humorous (he calls his students Bozos) and he is always cracking jokes with the class. During the opening of the novel morning announcements are being made, and Dr. Doane tells the students that on "this day Julius Caesar was assassinated.  Mr. Lunser replies, " And right after that they all sat down and ate a Caesar salad."   Phillp ends up having to transfer to Margaret Narwin's homeroom and she is extremely disciplined and very strict. Review the conflict from "The Glass of Milk." The boy turns down food offered to him by a sailor on the docks. How does this act
makvit [3.9K]

Answer:

A) It escalates the conflict by showing that, despite being very hungry, the boy's pride prevents him from accepting help.

Explanation:

A Glass of Milk is a story by an unknown author, which recounts the experience of a boy who is poor and hungry, yet he is ashamed of his situation and does not want to receive charity from others who offers him food. The sailor situation quote in the question refers to the beginning of the story, where the sailor offers the boy food, yet he declines it, saying he is not hungry despite the fact that he is. This exchange introduces the central conflict of the story.
