Of the molecules sif4 and sibr4, which has bonds that are more polar
eduard
Of SiF4 and SiBr4, the atom SiF4 is more polar. This is because the cation of both molecules are Silicon, but the anions of each are different. In SiF4, the anion is Fluorine, which is more electronegative than the Bromine in SiBr4, which creates a larger dipole, which results in a more polar molecule.

Nuclear energy use can negatively impact water quality. Please select the best answer from the choices provided T F
MAXImum [283]

The statement is - True.

The production of the nuclear energy by the nuclear reactors requires lot of water. The water's role is to constantly keep cool the reactors because if they overheat there can be a disaster of big proportions.

Because of the heating up of the water the water changes its properties slightly. Those changes have big environmental impact, easily seen in the local flora and fauna in close proximity to the nuclear reactors. There is way to big of a percentage of bad mutations among the flora and fauna where the water is released from the nuclear reactors, where very often there's animals with either more or less extremities, two heads, weird growth and shape of the plants etc.

Nasim is driving on a snow-covered road, and her car begins to slide. The quick behavioral response and the increased heart rate
Luda [366]

Answer:

1. sympathetic

2. parasympathetic

Explanation:

The sympathetic division of the autonomic nervous system triggers the release of stress hormones from adrenal medulla under emergency conditions. There is a series of physiological responses such as increased heart and breathing rate, an increased flow of blood to skeletal muscles, dilation of pupils, etc. These events helped Nasim to fight the stress conditions.

Once she was relieved, the parasympathetic system is activated that shut down the physiological responses generated by sympathetic division. It slows down the breathing and heart rate and triggers the digestion and absorption of nutrients to restore the energy level of cells.

Splenomegaly is an infectious disease that corrupt the spleen and the enlarged spleen usually persist even after all the symptoms have disappeared. Because of this, athletes should not resume active exercise too soon. Generally, the shortest period after which it is okay to resume active exercise is four weeks after all the symptoms have gone.
