S: it was Wednesday and school started like any other day , until the last period during which I waS in the library with a few other students we heard a gunshot in the corridor
We immediately started panicking until we regained our com and hid under the desk
We waited for a long 30 minutes before we heard another gunshot then another ,that’s when we realized that the shooter was coming nearer to the library
J: my god what did you do ?
S: we decided to run to the back of the library where it was all dusty and dark ,we figured he wouldn’t see us there
J: smart move ,what happened next
S: we crawled to the back and felt relatively safe for a while we noticed the window and saw that the sun was setting we had been in school for nearly 4 hours!
J: wow
S:only after it got dark the police burst into the library and helped us all to safety
J: were there any casualties?
S: thankfully no but one of our teachers was injured and our students were scared to death .we doubted that we would ever see our families again
J: my goodness, I’m speechless honestly I don’t know what to say
S: sure, please make it a good article ,and don’t blame the school please, it isn’t any of the teachers or faculty’s fault of what happened

Answer: C) Juliet is willing to face her worst fears to be with Romeo
Explanation: In this passage from Act IV of "Romeo and Juliet" by William Shakespeare, the statement that best conveys the central idea of the excerpt is Juliet is willing to face her worst fears to be with Romeo. Juliet is talking to Friar Laurence about her parents' decision to make her marriage to Paris sooner than it was planned. Friar Laurence tells Juliet that there is a way in which she and Romeo can be together. Juliet tells the friar that she is willing to do whatever it is necessary to be with Romeo again.
