Personally I believe the dress code is a majorly wrong policie every time they talk about it; it revolves solely around women for the majority of the time or it's only reinforced towards women. In my gym class when we would be outside and it was over 90 degrees my teacher would allow guys to take their gym shirts off and be shirtless but wouldn't allow girls to take their gym shirts off and be in a sports bra if that's the case no one should be able to take their shirts off if there to hot. They will dresscode you for having your underwear peek above your pants slightly if you bend over but allow guys to walk around with their shorts higher than their underwear but it's okay because it's “different” because it's on a guy and not “revealing”. Growing up with these schools dress codes have honestly just told women to cover up because were distracting the boys what about us tho? Sending us down to the office giving detentions because our bra is showing or were wearing a tank top making us leave class and lose time in class learning to change or get in trouble while the boys who are being "distracted" by us are in class learning why not just teach boys self control when they see a bra strap? it's just overall a very flawed and honestly wrong system. It makes a lot of women and girls feel as if they were seen as objects and that's why I think schools should reconsider the way they do their dress code.

hope this helps or gives you an idea on what to write about :)

In the text, specific characters serve as an allegory for distractions that one must resist to live a life of faith.
balandron [24]
I believe the correct answer is: “…the two pilgrims successfully resist Flatterer, who tries to trap them with a net, and Atheist, who tries to convince them that the Celestial City does not exist.”

In this excerpt from “Pilgrim's Progress” (1678), a Christian allegory written by John Bunyan, specific characters that serve as an allegory for distractions that one must resist to live a life of faith are Flatterer and Atheist which try to divert tempt Christian and Hopeful from the proper path. Therefore, the quotation that best develops this idea is:
“…the two pilgrims successfully resist Flatterer, who tries to trap them with a net, and Atheist, who tries to convince them that the Celestial City does not exist.”

P.S. Note that if it wasn't plural, the main distraction would be Apollyon, a form of Satan, as the Satan was tempting Christ the most in the desert.
