Freud and his contemporaries viewed conversion symptoms as the result of:__________.
avanturin [10]

Answer:

Freud and his contemporaries viewed conversion symptoms as the result of:

C. the transfer of psychic energy attached to repressed emotions or memories to physical symptoms.

Explanation:

Sigmund Freud (1856-1939) was an Austrian neurologist and the father of psychoanalysis.

According to Freud and other specialists, conversion symptoms are physical symptoms unrelated to any diseases. For example, someone seems to have lost the ability to use his right hand. After undergoing examination and tests, nothing wrong is found, at least physically speaking. Freud believed that that symptom was indicative of repressed feelings or memories, as if the body were manifesting something trapped in that person's unconscious mind.

Hi there!

The principle of SOCIAL CONFORMITY.

It showed that people tend to engage behaviours more likely in confirmation of the society at large.

The interesting question is when everybody is thinking about confirming then who decide what behavior to engage in, from the start? That is if we are supposed to DRINK in a Social gathering when all are drinking. Then who thought that Drinking is to be done by all, or who sets the social norm and how is the degree of strictness understood and enforced?
is it something we just think and that the norms doesn't actually exist?

Some food for thought!

hope it make sense!

What is the subject matter of blume's the eternal city?
Westkost [7]

Fascism is the subject matter of Blume's the eternal city.

Fascism is a system of government or social organization that imposes excessively strict rules or power. Nobody is permitted to disagree with a fascist leader, who controls both the government and the lives of the populace. Fascism aims to eliminate all "foreign" forces and organizations.

A particularly severe kind of right-wing ideology, fascism views the country and frequently the race as an inseparable organic community that transcends all other allegiances. It stresses the misconception that a nation can recover after suffering great loss or decline. The movement is frequently characterized as a synthesis of right- and left-wing ideals.

Hence, Option A is Correct.
