A) Two examples that make evident the globalization process that the world has incurred since the second half of the last century are, on the one hand, the creation of various international treaties on trade matters that have eliminated tax, customs and tariff barriers between the different countries, facilitating trade between them, such as the European Union or the North American Free Trade Agreement; and on the other, the development of new technologies that have allowed greater interconnection between different people throughout the planet, such as the development of the internet, cell phones and, in general, the telecommunications technologies that are seen currently.

B) Globalization has had both positive and negative impacts on the United States. On the positive side, it has allowed the nation to access new markets, which has boosted the economic performance of the country and its companies. In turn, on its negative side, the global commercial interconnection has caused certain companies to have been negatively affected, since foreign companies produce the same goods abroad at much lower costs.
