The first one is : (9)
By submitting --> 9
For every "X" in both of the equations its = 59
And because the question told us that the perimeter is 118 , so we multiply the 59 by 2
59x2 = 118

So , the answer is (9)

the second one is : (19)
the coverage value is 5$ , and the cost p/m is 0.15$ , so we subtract 7.85$ - 5$ we will get = 2.85$ , now by dividing 2.85$/0.15$ we will get = 19 , and that is the number of miles.

Good Luck!

Calculate the coefficients of the first four terms of the binomial expansion for the binomial (x+y)^28
MakcuM [25]

Consider the following expanded powers of (a + b)n, where a + b is any binomial and n is a whole number. Look for patterns.

Each expansion is a polynomial. There are some patterns to be noted.

1. There is one more term than the power of the exponent, n. That is, there are terms in the expansion of (a + b)n.

2. In each term, the sum of the exponents is n, the power to which the binomial is raised.

3. The exponents of a start with n, the power of the binomial, and decrease to 0. The last term has no factor of a. The first term has no factor of b, so powers of b start with 0 and increase to n.

4. The coefficients start at 1 and increase through certain values about "half"-way and then decrease through these same values back to 1.

What is the arc measure of D C in degrees
Mashutka [201]
Hello there!

Sense this is a 360 degree angle, it is divide by 2. This would then be considered 180. If you (noticed) on the other side, it shows us that . . .

AB=19 \\ and \ AB=CD

We then do (180-19)

DC= \ \boxed{161}

How is a rectangle similar to a square?
STatiana [176]

Answer:

So a square is a special kind of rectangle, it is one where all the sides have the same length. Thus every square is a rectangle because it is a quadrilateral with all four angles right angles. However not every rectangle is a square, to be a square its sides must have the same length.

Hope this helps!

A pilot traveling 175 miles per hour encounters a head wind of 35 knots. If there are 1.15 knots per mph, what will her true spe
KonstantinChe [14]
Since one knot is 1.15 mph.
We multiply 35 time 1.15, which equals 40.25 mph.
Then we subtract. 175 - 4.25 = 134.75
Round, and you'll get 135mph
Therefore, your answer is 135mph
