l had to travel half the distance that he had traveled while sleeping. For what part of the entire journey did he sleep?

he slept for 1/2 of the trip and then slept have the distance that was left so that would be 1/2 divided by 2 equals 1/4 so 1/2 plus 1/4 equals 3/4 so george has 1/4 of his journey left.
