Answer:

The Answer is: x=10 or anything less than 10, but if there are no answer choices, I recommend you just say 10 or under 10

Step-by-step explanation:

2/3(3x-6)+1 = 15=

(2x-4)+1 = 15 =

(2x-5) = 15 =

(2x) = 20 =

x = 10 or less

Its kinda complicated, first ignore the less than or greater than sign and change it to an equal to sign now simplify it by doing order of operations, normally parenthesis goes first but there's nothing you can do in there, so since its 2/3(3x -6), you will need to divide everything in the parenthesis by 2/3, subtract everything by a third of its amount, and your outcome will be (2x  -4) + 1, now add the one to 4 and you will now get 5 and your new outcome will be (2x-5) = 15. Now that its simplified instead of subtracting the 5 you will be adding it to the opposite side, which sounds complicated so let me explain, since you can't simplify it further, your basically summing it up on the opposite side therefore, with this, you will get (2x) = 20, same goes with multiplication too, you sum it up on the other side by its opposite, which is division, so instead of multiplying 2 by x, your dividing 20 by 2, and you will get as your new outcome, and your answer x = 10 or of which less than 10 because 10 is greater than or equal to x.

Therefore, your final answer is x is less than or equal to 10.

Hope This Helps!

Lin's bottle holds 3 1/4 cups of water. She drank 1 cup of water. What fraction of the water in the bottle did she drink?
DanielleElmas [232]

Answer:

30.76923077 or (approx: 30.77)

Step-by-step explanation:

-has 3 1/4 cups

-drinks 1 cup

(3 1/4-1=2 1/4)

3 1/4=100%               (3 1/4 divided by 1=3.25)

    1  =x%                    (100 divided by 3.25)

Approx 30.77%
