Answer:

Find the explanation below.

Explanation:

A monopolistically competitive firm is one that is in competition with many other firms selling identical but not the same products. A monopolist is a business entity that has dominated the market and is in control of a particular product in the market.

So, the above statement means that "The Beatles," were once in competition with other firms selling products that were similar to theirs. Now, however, "The Beatles" are the only suppliers of the product they sell and are in control of that particular market.

When you think of "home," how could it simultaneously
weeeeeb [17]

Answer:

Find the explanation below.

Explanation:

A home is a place where people who are related or known to each other reside. Home is meant to be a place of security because after going through the troubles of the day, we retire home and hope to find peace there. Things inside and outside the home that could inspire fear include; troublesome relatives, unfriendly neighbors, damaged parts of the building such as a leaking ceiling or broken windows, objects lying around the place, etc. Coming back to quarrelsome relatives could be a source of fear as the individual is in a state of unrest because of bickerings.

Things inside and outside the home that could inspire security include surveillance cameras, gates, doors, fences, electricity, food, caring relatives, etc. When we are locked in behind our doors, gates, and fences, we feel secured. Closed-circuit televisions also help to monitor movements around the house and they inspire a sense of security.  Good relatives can also be a source of happiness. So, the home could be a haven of peace and could also be a source of unrest.

How does it help the reader know the thought feeling and action of all the character in this story
mezya [45]

Answer:

The reader needs to connect with the character. When a reader emotionally connects with the character, he gets engaged and interested in the story.

Explanation:

If the reader knows the action of the story he will get more involved in resolving the end, by guessing or assuming.

If there isn’t an action that is noticed in the story, or that is unfamiliar to the reader, the reader can get bored and lose interest in the story.

In 2–3 complete sentences, thoroughly explain the protagonist's main motivation or goal in your Module One short story? What doe
Dafna11 [192]

In the short story "Condensed Milk," by Russian author Varlam Shalamov (1907-1982), the protagonist appears to have two main motivations: hunger and revenge.

The protagonist's name is never revealed. He is a prisoner at a Gulag, a Russian forced-labor camp. He is sick from<u> exhaustion and starvation</u>, and emotionally dulled to the <u>lack of empathy and dignity</u> of his condition.

When another prisoner, who is treated much better than the protagonist, offers him a <u>chance to escape</u>, the protagonist almost immediately realizes the whole thing is a <u>tra</u>p. He lies to the man, tells him he agrees with escaping as long as he is brought some condensed milk to eat. <u>At this moment, hunger seems to be the main motivation</u>:

<em>I fell asleep and in my ragged hungry dreams saw Shestakov's can of condensed milk, a monstrous can with sky-blue label.</em>

When he is brought two cans, <u>the protagonist drinks their contents</u> to only then reveal <u>he does not intend to participate in the plan</u>. This where we find out about his need for <u>revenge</u>. He knows Shestakov is a traitor:

<em>It was, of course, a weak, worthless act of vengeance just like all my feelings.</em>

<em />

NOTE: I know the question asks only for two or three sentences, but I found it important to add context to the answer. Feel free to edit and shorten it.

Study the quote to answer the question: "So-called anonymous tracking is not very secure—the anonymity is fairly easily broken.
PolarNik [594]
<span>"So-called anonymous tracking is not very secure—the anonymity is fairly easily broken. Cracking [it]...is a fairly easy engineering feat."

This example maintains the main idea of the passage, keeping its message in tact while eliminating information using ellipses to improve clarity. The addition of "it" also helps make it clearer and more concise. </span>
