Answer:

second term: 9

4th term:81

(3rd \: term)^{2}  = 9 \times 81

=729

\sqrt{729}  = 27

3rd term=27

{9}^{2}  = a1x27 \\ 81 = 27a1

a1=3 the first term

81 = 3 \times {q}^{3}

{q}^{3}  = 27

q=3

s = 3x \frac{1 -  {3}^{5} }{1 - 3}  = 364.5

Complete the point-slope equation of the line through (-8, -8) and (-7, 9)
neonofarm [45]

Answer:

Request equation :

y-17x=128

Step-by-step explanation:

As we know that if (x1,y1) & (x2,y2) be two points then it's point slope form equation can be written as

y-y1 = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) {x-x1}

now we have (-8,-8) and (-7,9) then the equation will become

y-(-8)=(9-(-8))/(-7-(-8)) {x-(-8)}

i.e, y+8=17(x+8)

i.e, y -17x =128

The roots of the equation X square + 2 X + 4 = 2 are necessarily what
avanturin [10]

Answer:

-1±i

Step-by-step explanation:

Im assuming the question is asking what the roots of x^2+2x+4=2 are.

1. x^2+2x+4= 2 - subtract 2 on both sides to set the quadratic equation equal to zero.

2. x^2+2x+2 - now, since this equation cannot be factored the quadratic formula must be used: -b±\frac{\sqrt{b^{2}-4ac}}{2a} (standard form: ax^2+bx+c)

3.  -2±\sqrt{2^{2}-4(1)(2) }/2(1)= (-2±\sqrt{-4})/2

4. using complex numbers this can be rewritten as -1±i.

The radius of the circle is 3in
nexus9112 [7]

Answer:

28.26 square inches

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for a circle is A = pi * radius squared. So we do A = pi * 3 square which is A = pi * 9. So then we do A = 3.14 * 9 which gives us a final answer of 28.26. I hope this helps!
