Pink Eye, High Fever, Vomiting, Diarrhea

All of these are symptoms which would require you to stay home from work. Pink eye would not necessarily make you feel poorly. It is more of an annoyance, but it is highly contagious. A fever over 101 would also be an acceptable reason to stay home from work. Fevers can be a sign that the virus is contagious. A high fever can also affect a person's decision making skills and ability to operate machinery. Vomiting and diarrhea are also symptoms that can require a person to stay home from work, if they are continuous. They need easy access to a bathroom. These symptoms can also cause fainting and dehydration.

Commas are used to separate clauses, phrases, coordinating adjectives and non-essential words. Commas usually indicate pauses and they are used to separate ideas within a sentence.
