Plz help. DON'T ANSWER IF YOU DON'T KNOW!!

English

Answer:

see explanation

Explanation:

a) Based on the posters, the viewer can gather that the novel is set in farmland because of the haybales and the two men walking through a farming field. Furthermore, the clothing the characters are wearing tells us that not only is the plot set on a farm but that it is set in an earlier time period as seen in the more modest clothing and dress typical to a 1930's American wear.

b) I do not believe the quote stated on the poster depicting Curley's wife talking is effective in portraying the overall theme and storyline of the book. Curley's wife is a character who's prescene entirely centers around male ideals- she is seen as a sex object for many of the men on the farm- and is disregarded in the plot. This poster referencing her gives the reader the idea that she has some power in the novel and that she is an important character. The second poster gives little information to the reader, however by diving deeper into its details, as explained in question (a), we can draw conclusions from it such as where and when the plot is taking place.

c) The film poster is vague and first seeing it makes me think that the book is only discussing farm life in the 1930s whereas the actual plot is about loyalty, friendship, and doing what is right. The film poster leaves much up to the viewer without drawing them into the plot or the characters and therefore I do not think the film poster is effective in making me want to read or watch the film Of Mice and Men.

What meanings did myths about gods, goddesses, and heroes have for the ancient Greeks?
Mazyrski [523]

The gods, heroes, and humans of Greek mythology were flawed. ... Hermes, who had winged feet, was the messenger of the gods and could fly anywhere with great speed. Aphrodite, the goddess of love, was the most beautiful being in the universe. Her brother, Ares, the god of war, was sinister, mean, and disliked.

What did "old Joe" buy from the women who looted the dead man? Click ALL that apply.
Rudik [331]

Answer:

"Old Joe" bought from the women who looted the dead man, the following items:

Bed Curtains, rings and all

Blankets from off the corpse

The shirt he was to be buried in

Explanation:

Charles Dickens in "A Christmas Carol" (1843) told the story of how Scrooge was emotionally transformed after noticing how "old Joe" used to buy stolen items from people. The worst items were those of a dead man brought by one of the "old Joe's" customers. Every conceivable item was stripped off the dead man, including his bed curtains, rings, blankets, and the only shirt he was to be buried in. The big lesson indicated that redemption was possible if love and compassion would be allowed to triumph.
