One technological progress was the use of coal to power steam engines and furnaces, more and more coal was needed since it was a big part of the technological progress (since coal was used to power many things). Another technological progress was the Spinning Jenny. The Spinning Jenny was a machine that was used for spinning wool or cotton. This machine was a huge technological advancement because it was a faster way of spinning wool and cotton. The machine was invented by James Hargreaves in 1764.
