[50 Points] - [I will report point thieves]
vladimir1956 [14]

Their Eyes Were Watching God follows the life of Janie Crawford, a girl of mixed black and white heritage, around the turn of the century...which was not an easy time to be of mixed race. As an adolescent, Janie sees a bee pollinating a flower in her backyard pear tree and becomes obsessed with finding true love. (Because there's nothing hotter than a little bee-on-flower action.)

From there, the novel documents her emotional growth and maturity through three marriages.

Janie’s first marriage, to farmer Logan Killicks, is planned and executed by Janie’s well-intentioned grandmother, Nanny. Unfortunately, Nanny's plan doesn't go so well. In this marriage, Janie chafes under the uninspired but reliable Logan.

Make that uninspired, reliable...and abusive. After he threatens to kill her for not obeying him, Janie leaves Logan for the suave and ambitious Joe Starks.

Joe takes Janie to Eatonville, Florida, America’s first all-black city, where she lives the high life as the mayor’s wife. However, Janie finds that her husband has very rigid definitions of a woman’s role. Joe often silences Janie and refuses to listen to others’ opinions...which is no kind of good.

As Joe grows old, he tries to divert public attention from his failing body by accusing Janie of acting too young for her age. Finally, Janie can’t bear it anymore and lashes out at Joe, insulting his manhood and pride. Joe is deflated and takes to his deathbed, refusing to let Janie visit him. Janie bursts into Joe's room in his final moments and speaks her mind.

After his untimely death, Janie dons widow’s clothes and lives happily as a single woman until she meets a slick and fun-loving vagrant named Tea Cake. Although Tea Cake is 12 years younger than Janie, with him she finds the true love she has dreamed of all her life. In their relationship, both sides experience bouts of jealousy, but Janie and Tea Cake eventually find happiness working in the fields of the Everglades and mingling with the migrant workers.

Disaster arrives in the form of a hurricane. Tea Cake is given plenty of warnings about its coming and even an opportunity to flee, but he chooses to stay on the "muck" for the love of money. The hurricane strikes with divine ferocity, forcing all of the Everglades’ inhabitants to either leave or die. While fleeing the storm, Tea Cake saves Janie from a ferocious dog but gets himself bitten in the process.

Tea Cake gets rabies, and his natural jealousy turns into aggressive suspicion and paranoia over Janie. In the end, Janie is forced to shoot her husband to protect herself—rabies is not pretty. Though she's put on trial for murder, she's pronounced innocent.

After Tea Cake’s funeral, Janie returns home to Eatonville. There, she meets up with her old friend, Pheoby Watson, and tells her the whole story. This narration to Pheoby provides the framing for the whole novel.

My Mom

by Fatiha from Taroudant

A quotes about The Mother : The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new. ~Rajneesh Mother love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible. ~Marion C. Garretty A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts. ~Washington Irving

Everyone in the world has a different opinion about what a hero is. They come in many shapes, sizes, have different characteristics, values, and beliefs. For me, a hero is someone who is willing to put a hundred percent effort into protecting you from pain. They will stop at nothing to provide you with the security of safety; and will share with you the knowledge required for survival. A hero doesn't have to have impeccable character, high importance in society, or have a classic sandwich named after them in the local pub. A hero just needs to be someone who cares for your happiness and loves you for being yourself. My mother is my hero.

Like I said in paragraph one,My mom is my hero. She's a great person - she's trustworthy, honest, and she has a great heart. She is a very honest heroine because almost everyone we know comes to her for advice or for help. Like one time my mom's best friend was having issues with her mom. She needed to know what to do about it. So my mom told her just to confront her mom about it and take it from there. Being honest can take you a long way later on in life. My mom is very trustworthy because all of her friends come to her and tell her everything. She doesn't tell anyone anything and that's why everybody likes telling her everything {I really want be like her] . For example my mom's closest friend calls my mom every single day and tells her everything. So one day my mom asked her friend why do you tell me everything? My mom's friend told her because she can trust my mom.

Another character trait makes my mom a heroine is that she also has a great heart. She always willing to help out. She likes to help out at church and she likes to help out all her friends. She also likes to give people stuff that they really need. That's why I know that she has a great heart. My mom keeps everything real and she doesn't care what color or sex you are. If you need her then she's there for you no matter what. Like my hero said, "Life's too short not to want to do good deeds." Writing a paper on unrecognized heroes makes me feel real good and it lets them know that somebody recognized what they're doing and they will be rewarded for it.

Finally, my mother is a hero not because of what she offers to the world, but what she offers to me. She makes me feel like I am the most important person in the world. I know that she would drop anything in the world if it meant protecting me from being hurt. My mother has given me the knowledge required to be a successful productive member of society. She has taught me to love the skin that I'm in, and never to be afraid of expressing my personality. My mother is my hero.

I will give brainliest to the person who does this essay for me. If you comment “I don’t know” or something else, you won’t get
ira [324]

Answer:

In a daily walk I have witnessed hatred in the city and streets where there are people killing other people because of their skin and because they said or did something to stop the crimes of others. I also see evil in our government. There are people doing bad things and cheating the government, This is not a way to show love and respect toward other people.I have witnessed love in places like my own town. The people in the community give and help each other, there are never people that get left out they will always be willing to give each other rides and babysit for their neighbors, And on the holidays we exchange gifts and food. Having a strong relationship with god helps you to better yourself and to be able to forgive and understand people better, It will also help you to see a different side of things and think about other people and not just yourself. Actions I would be able to take would be starting a group in my/other communities to love and respect others and also have teaching of god's word and with that they will start to understand the importance of god’s word and love and they come to appreciate what your doing and eventually they will want other people to know. And with that they will be able to spread the word to other people, the process maybe slow but god's love always finds a way to get people to listen.
