What would happen if the pouter pigeon and the fantail pigeon and the fantail pigeon were selectively bred?
lozanna [386]

Answer:

The offspring population will contains the desirable characteristics of both fantail pigeon and the fantail pigeon.

Explanation:

 • The selective breeding is the planned breeding between two organism of the population with desirable properties to result in the new traits from both parents in the single next generation offspring.
 • In this case, the offspring of the pouter pigeon and the fantail pigeon will contain the traits of pouter and it also has fantail.
 • The new generation will be selective breed an it is from the breeding of intra specie organism. If breeding is inter specie than the offspring is most probably infertile.

Fructose is? also known as dextrose. the sweetest of the sugars. abundant in whole grains. a starch. known as milk sugar.
Elina [12.6K]

Dextrose and fructose are both types of sugar. the sugar with the best flavor. plenty of whole grains. the starch. called milk sugar.

It is also found naturally in other plant foods such as honey, sugar beets, sugar cane, and vegetables. Fructose is the sweetest naturally occurring carbohydrate, 1.2 to 1.8 times more sweeter than sucrose (table sugar). is the sweetness of Fructose metabolism does not require insulin and has little effect on blood sugar levels. There are many different types of sugar, some more common than others. Fructose, like glucose, is a type of sugar known as a simple sugar or "simple sugar". Monosaccharides can be combined to form disaccharides, the most common of which is sucrose, or "sugar." Sucrose is made up of 50% fructose and 50% glucose. Fructose and glucose have the same chemical formula (C6H12O6), but due to their different molecular structures, fructose is 1.2 to 1.8 times sweeter than sucrose. In fact, fructose is the sweetest natural carbohydrate.

In nature, fructose is most commonly found as a component of sucrose. Fructose is also found in plants as a simple sugar, but that doesn't mean other sugars don't exist.

Why do lichens and mosses get mostly replaced by larger plant species during succession
Alexeev081 [22]

Answer:

Lichens that colonize bare rock secrete acids that break down the rock and start the soil-production process. Also, as lichens die, they provide some organic matter that also contributes to soil. Mosses can then colonize the thin soil; as mosses die, the soil thickens more allowing other hardy species to colonize

aleksley [76]
The answer is Both lack membrane-bound organelles and are single-celled.

Prokaryotes are unicellular organisms. The main difference between them and eukaryotes is the absence of nucleus and organelles in prokaryotes and their presence in eukaryotes. That is why they belong to different kingdoms. On the other hands, Archaea and Eubacteria differ in the composition of their cell wall. Archaea's cell walls are made of uncommon lipids while Eubacteria have cell walls made of peptidoglycan.
