Matt thinks that he has a special relationship with the number 4. In particular, Matt thinks that he would roll a 4 with a fair
Ahat [919]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Matt thinks that he has a special relationship with the number 2. In particular, Matt thinks that he would roll a 2 with a fair 6-sided die more often than you'd expect by chance alone. Suppose p is the true proportion of the time Matt will roll a 2.

(a) State the null and alternative hypotheses for testing Matt's claim. (Type the symbol "p" for the population proportion, whichever symbols you need of "<", ">", "=", "not =" and express any values as a fraction e.g. p = 1/3)

H0 =

Ha =

(b) Now suppose Matt makes n = 46 rolls, and a 2 comes up 10 times out of the 46 rolls. Determine the P-value of the test:

P-value = ( u figure it out) u got it

Answer:

\fbox {See below} \downarrow

Step-by-step explanation:

Question 1

Part (a) :

⇒ 6 × 6 × 6 × 6 × 6 × 6 × 6 = 6ˣ

⇒ 6⁷ = 6ˣ

⇒ x = 7

Part (b) :

⇒ y² = 169

⇒ √y² = √169

⇒ y = ± 13

⇒ y = 13, y = -13

Question 2

Part (a) :

⇒ (√5)² × (√3)²

⇒ 5 × 3

⇒ 15

Part (b) :

⇒ (∛9)³ × (√30)²

⇒ 9 × 30

⇒ 270

Can someone plz help me with this math problem.
galben [10]
For question one, you would need to use the formula pi r ^2. So first you have 4.5, which is your radius(stands for r). Then you square it, which is 20.25. Then, you multiply 20.25 with pi. Then for circumference, you do 2 x pi x the radius which is 4.5. So for area, you get 63.62. Then for circumference you get 28.27.

For question 2, it is basically the same steps but instead you a diameter, not a radius. To get the radius, divide by 2, which the radius will be 6. Then from there, the radius is 6, and you solve the question.

Convert this franction into a percentage 9/12?
kolbaska11 [484]

Hello, Yoloalanis. In order to solve this question that you have just posted, you only have to do a few simple steps. So, We can do this!

Let's start with your fraction. You will first have to change 9/12 into a decimal. In order to do this, you will have to divide the numerator by the denominator. A numerator is also known as the top part of the fraction. A denominator is the bottom part of the fraction. So, when you divide nine by twelve, you get 0.75 as a decimal. Now, you just have to multiply the decimal by 100 or to make it simpler, just move the decimal two places to the right. To sum it all up, you will get 75%.

Hope it helps :)
