et up 2 equations to solve for 2 unknowns. Let A = Ama’s age and K = Kofi’s age.

So 3A=K+4 1st equation or

3A - K = 4 Moved unknown K to left of = sign.

A+3+K+3=30 2nd equation, next move numeric values to right of = sign.

A + K = 24 Add to 1st equation to eliminate K from the equation

3A - K = 4 Copied from above, now add.

4A = 28 Divide by 4

A = 7 This is Ama’s age. Substitute 7 for A in equations A + K = 24

7 + K = 24 subtract 7

K = 17 This is Kofi’s age.

Can somebody plz help answer the number 10’s questions using the diagram from the bottom left side (only if u know how to do thi
Lana71 [14]

Answer:

10a: △ABC is an Equilateral triangle with all acute angles.

10b: △BCD is A scalene triangle with all acute angles.

10c: △BDE is An Isosceles triangle with one obtuse angle.

Step-by-step explanation:

10) Looking at the diagram at the bottom left;

- △ABC has 3 equal internal angles and as such, it means it will have 3 equal angles.

Thus, we can classify it as; Equilateral triangle with all acute angles.

- △BCD has 3 unequal angles. Thus, it's 3 sides are not equal. Also all the angles are less than 90°.

We can classify it as;

A scalene triangle with all acute angles

- △BDE has 2 equal angles and one angle greater than 90°. This means it has 2 equal sides.

Thus, we can classify it as;

- An Isosceles triangle with one obtuse angle.

Find the values of x and y.
No calculator needed.
Leave ✓ as a part of your answer.
valentina_108 [34]

Answer:

y=6 x=8.49

Step-by-step explanation:

Since angles p and r are 45deg QP and QR are the same length.

the pythagorean theorem states that a^2+b^2=c^2.

so 6^2+6^2=72

the square root of 72 is 8.49.

so x or c = 8.49
