Answer:

The Bessemer process is a method that can be used to produce large amount of steel at a significantly lower cost.  This process is aimed to remove the impurities from the iron through oxidation process.   First, they melt the iron with heat and put it into a furnace. After that, They blow the molten iron with cold air and make it harden into steel.

Example of new products created with steel:

- Steel Cable, Which is used as power transmitter in automobile products.

- Galvanized steel, which used as a coating for other metals in order to prevent  them from rusting.

Which was a progressive goal pursued by President William Howard Taft?
Mamont248 [21]

A is a goal, but not a progressive goal, so A is discarded as a correct answer. And we can say the same thing to B.

Although breaking easing the requirements to become a U.S. citizen might be seen nowadays as a progressive goal, it was not the case back in William Howard Taft's time and it certainly was not his goal. So it can't be D either.

So in the end, we have C. breaking up business trust and giant monopolies.

and he did, like his predecessor Teddy Roosevelt.
