The fraction is 1/3. on the input side, it’s going up by one, (6,7,8 etc) and on the output side it’s going up by 3. (18+3=21). if u were to double check 6/18 reduces to 1/3! so the answer is 1/3

Ms. Haven recorded the number of homework assignments her students completed
STatiana [176]

Answer:

(6, 97) is the outlier.

Step-by-step explanation:

When we have a data set:

x: x₁, x₂, x₃, ..., xₙ

y: y₁, y₂, y₃, ..., yₙ

Each one of the pairs (x₁, y₁), (x₂, y₂), etc, is an ordered pair that belongs to the data set.

Usually, these values are distributed in some way that, we assume, is normalized. So if one of these ordered pairs is really different from the others, then that pair is called an "outlier".

In the data set, we have:

Number of homework completed vs Score assigned.

You can see that, as the number of homework completed increases, also does the score

For example, for the smaller number of homework completed, (5) the score is 67, the minimum score.

And as the number of homework completed reaches to 10, the score increases to 90 or 98.

But there is an outlier there, you can see that a student that only completed 6 times the homework, has a score of 97 (one of the largest scores) (this score is more than all the scores for the students with 6, 7, 8 and 9 completed homeworks) so we can conclude that this one is the outlier.

(6, 97) is the outlier.

At a school fair, each student spins the spinner, which is equally likely to land on each of the four sectors. The spinner shows
Sergeeva-Olga [200]

Answer:

3 tokens.

Step-by-step explanation:

We need the roulette image, therefore we will suppose one that I will leave as an attached image:

The main thing to keep in mind in this case is that the probabilities are the same, therefore you don't have to take that into account, just operate with the values of each sector, therefore the expected value would be:

expected value = profit - loss

expected value = (5 + 5) - (4 + 3)

expected value = 10 - 7 = 3

This means that the number of tokens waiting for the student to earn for each spin is 3 tokens.

Give the equation of a line that goes through the point (5,7) and is parallel to the line 2x+3y=-9
ad-work [718]
• Rearrange in slope intercept form
3y = (-2x - 9) ➗ 3
y = -2/3x - 3

• Write parallel slope (same slope)
m = -2/3

• Replace x and y value in the equation
7 = -2/3(5) + b
7 = -10/3 + b
7 + 10/3 = b
B = 31/3

• write full equation
Y = -2/3 + 31/3
