Dolores Huerta was a known activist and labor leader who co-founded the group known as United Farm Workers.
Having started with Agricultural Workers Association (AWA) in 1960, Dolore Huerta worked with politicians to enable immigrant workers to obtain welfare support such as public assistance and pensions, while submitting the Spanish-language voting ballots and driver's tests.
