One example of how the nation mobilized during world war 1 was army drafting. One country example of the drafting is United States that has an army with small number of personnel and in order to have a large army they used army draft to fill the ranks of the army. Also weapons were created as men were trained to provide the necessary equipment for the soldiers. Also to supply food there would be an agency or organization that would assign for food supply to the soldiers in the front example of this is the United States Food Administration.
With the ability to forge iron tools, farming tools were more effective and provided a greater production and effectiveness. More food produced means that more people are able to be fed and consequently establish and work in the land. With a higher population and food cap, West Africa settlements were able to grow.
