Answer:

About 1021 people were killed by police shootings in the last year. Many of these police officers get away with a slap on the wrist or no punishment at all. Many of these people's families cannot do anything about this because if they speak out they may be arrested or worse. Also there are multiple videos and images of police attacking the innocent for no reason at all. Such as pepper-spraying them or using batons to beat them.

kenny6666 [7]
Sound reasoning is essentially a valid argument/claim with evidence to back it up. The argument needs to be written based on true premises and logical fallacies shouldn't be present. A sound argument typically requires an explanation to back up a clear message. A mix of ethos, pathos, and logos are present in a sound argument.

timurjin [86]

Answer: I'd choose

'Tommy is an imaginative boy who yearns or adventure.'

Explanation: My reasoning is he goes into more depth about wanting to be on the ship and what adventures he'd have and how he'd seek his fortune and his more 'imaginative' wording instead of talking about his hometown, or knowing more about ships at his age because it does not mention other boys his age, and Tommy spends to much time at the rivers edge watching ships isn't exactly what your supposed to get from the paragraph, I mean yeah you could, but it isn't the best answer/the one they are looking for.
