Things like viruses, non mitotic DNA, certain bacteria/cells can only be resolved via an electron microscope. Also all these things must be dead first and coated w/ a metal such as gold. Therefore in can't be used to study living organisms. Finally an electron microscope specifically a scanning electron microscope is used to study the surface of larger items w/ very high resolution.

Birth rate is the number of babies born at a particular time. Increase birth rate leads to increase in population. While a decrease leads to a decrease in population.
Death rate is the number of deaths at a particular time. Increased death leads to population decrease and decreased death leads to population increase
Immigration is the movement of people into a place. Increased immigration leads to high population
Emigration is the movement of people out of a place. Increased emigration leads to low population.
