All you do is pythagorean theorem. Which is A squared plus B squared equals C squared. Think of each graph as a right triangle. If you make it a triangle then you know that one side is 6 and one side is 2 so then you can figure out the problem by using Pythagorean theorem to solve for the long side also known as C or C squared

Number 2 is wrong because it says NO more than so it would be the opposite of a more than sign. So it should be a less than or equal to sign.
The same goes for number 4.
Number 5 is wrong as well because since it is the maximum then it cannot be higher than 8, so there so be a less than or equal to sign.

Rina8888 [55]

<u>Answer:</u>

f ( x ) = 2 . 2 5 ( 1 + 0 . 4 ) ^ x

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

We are given that the price of gas started at $2.25 and increased at a rate of 4% per year.

We are to write a function which models this situation using numerical values of A and r into the expression.

A = $2.25

r = 4%

Assuming x to be the time in years, the function would be:

f ( x ) = 2 . 2 5 ( 1 + 0 . 4 ) ^ x

allsm [11]

Answer:

6:9:15

Step-by-step explanation:

multiply each number in the first ratio by three. They multiplied 3 times three to get 9, so you have to do that to each number to make it a ratio.

A ratio is like an equivalent fraction. It all has to be proportionate to the other fraction.

Examples:

4:3   is equal to 8:6

16:6 is equal to 32:12
