The female and male sex cells or gametes are known as eggs and sperm. These cells are formed inside the sex glands and are destined to unite during the fertilization process in order to carry out reproduction in humans.

the male sexual cell is the spermatozoa, they are mobile and can move using their flagellum. Sperm remain alive for 2 or 3 days in the female genitalia. THESE CELLS ORIGINATE INSIDE THE TESTICLES.

Ovules are large, spherical and immobile cells and generally a single egg matures every 28 days, unlike sperm that are generated in large numbers.
