Answer:

She was born c. 1788 into the Agaidika ribe near present-day Salmon, Lemhi County. This is near the continental divide at the present-day Idaho-Montana border.  In 1800, when she was about 12 years old, Sacagawea and several other girls were taken captive by a group of Hidatsa. At about age 13, she was sold into a non-consensual marriage to Toussaint Charbonneau, a Quebecois trapper about two decades earlier who lived in the Hidatsa village.

How has the economic impact of environmental concerns effected the U.S.?
larisa [96]

Answer:

In part, this balanced approach was likely motivated by the significant slowdown in U.S. productivity growth, uptick in inflation, and, by the mid-1970s, doubling of the unemployment rate that coincided with the expansion of federal oversight into areas such as environmental quality. 2 To better understand the potential effects of environmental regulation on the economy several government reports were commissioned to investigate the potential impacts on a wide array of measures, including national economic growth, industries and firms, employment, and consumers (e.g., U.S. CEQ, 1971).

By the end of Carter's first term, many Americans had come to see their president as charismatic and commanding. weak and defeat
bixtya [17]

Answer:

The answer is weak and defeated.

Explanation:

Jimmy carter became president of the United States in 1976. He was little known before he started his campaign for the presidency and had no experience with the federal government.

When Carter was eventually sworn into office he gradually began having problems due to his inexperience. In fact, the problems were  overwhelming (stronger than he could handle).

As a result Carter failed to secure re-election (a defeat) after his first term in office because voters (Americans) realized that he was indeed weak and prone to defeats due to his inexperience.
