Answer: Light is absorbed during the light dependent reactions.

Sugar is produced during the carbon fixation reactions

Explanation: Photosynthetic reactions are divided into two phases: light dependent reactions and carbon fixation reactions.

Light dependent reactions are so named because they occur only when plants are illuminated. During light dependent reactions, sunlight is absorbed and it is used to split one molecule of water. This process is called photolysis of water and the energy is conserved in form of ATP and NADPH.

In carbon fixation reactions, ATP and NADPH produced in light dependent reactions are used to drive the incorporation of three molecules of carbon dioxide into ribulose 1,5- bisphosphate in a cyclic pathway known as Calvin cycle to produce triose phosphate sugar. Triose phosphate produced is used in the synthesis of glucose and other related molecules such as starch.

This type of mutation leads to the protein created by the gene if one part of the protein is removed or added. It can affect the protein and leads to several diseased cases or synfroms.

Sedimentary rocks are the type of rocks that formed by the deposition or accumulation of small mineral or organic particles on the floor of water bodies at the Earth's surface. some of the example of sedimentary rocks are Shale, limestone and sandstone.

Folding is common in areas of thick sedimentary rocks due to deposition of several layers of particles over one another or slumping of sedimentary material before it is lithified.

Prokaryotic cells cell walls contain peptidoglycan sensitive to traditional antibacterial antibiotic. True or False
kherson [118]

Answer:

True

Explanation:

Prokaryotic cell or bacterial cell contain cell wall which is made up of peptidoglycan and traditional antibacterial antibiotics were able to interfere with the cell wall synthesis and cause the destruction of bacterial cells.

For example, one of the most traditional antibiotic is penicillin which inhibit the synthesis of bacterial cell wall by blocking transpeptidation reaction. As it inhibits new cell wall formation it results in the formation of holes in the cell wall.

These holes in the cell allow movement molecules inside the cell and cause osmotic cell lysis. Therefore the statement is true.
