A ballad is a type of poem that tells a story and was traditionally set to music. English language ballads are typically composed of four lines per stanza that follow the A, B, C, B rhyme scheme.

Requirements: Must tell a COMPLETE story (real or fictional), must be written in four line stanzas that follow the A, B, C, B rhyme scheme (in each stanza), must include at least one enjambment. The enjambment must be in bold.

A minimum of SIX stanzas should be written. 1 for the Exposition, 2 for the Rising Action, 1 for the Climax, 1 for the Falling Action, 1 for the Resolution. If you want to write more you can.

An example of a ballad is "'Twas The Night Before Christmas (Links to an external site.)". Click on the link to see the example. This poem has an A, A, B, B rhyme scheme, but you must use the A, B, C, B rhyme scheme.

Example for ONE STANZA:
Larry, a salamander, lived near a city (A)
in a misty, dark, and shadowy bog. (B)
His journey began with some bugs in his hand (C)
as he pondered and sat on a log. (B)

Answer:

I saw pale kings and princes too,

Pale warriors, death-pale were they all;

They cried—‘La Belle Dame sans Merci

Thee hath in thrall!’

I saw their starved lips in the gloam,

With horrid warning gapèd wide,

And I awoke and found me here,

On the cold hill’s side.

And this is why I sojourn here,

Alone and palely loitering,

Though the sedge is withered from the lake,

And no birds sing.

please mark as brainliest
