Read the following scenario. Then answer the question based on this scenario. Harper is a two-year-old girl in an Early Head Sta

rt classroom. She was born six weeks premature, and both she and her mother tested positive for cocaine at birth. Harper was diagnosed with developmental delay and was placed in a foster home during the period in which the mother successfully completed a drug treatment program. Harper thrived in her responsive and caring foster care home, where she had nurturing care with many opportunities for sensory experiences. She also received developmental therapy services through the state early intervention program. At 18 months, Harper was reunited with her mother and has attended Early Head Start for six months. Assessment at the Early Head Start indicates that Harper is meeting all of her developmental milestones. Harper can run and jump, has a vocabulary of 100 or more words, can help pull up her diaper, and is beginning toilet training. You learned about nature versus nurture. This foster home is an example of which?

The correct option is A.
There are two factors which are considered to be affecting child development, they are nature and nurture. Nature refers to the genetic make up of the child while nurture refers to the environmental factors which influence a child development and learning. In the question given above, the foster home is an example of nurture and it has influence on the development and learning of Harper.

Can u explain this in one paragraph, the two step process of changing your identity
nekit [7.7K]

Answer:

Decide who you want to be.

This applies at any level, as an individual, an organisation, a community or even a whole nation. What are our principles and values, what do we wish to become. These are big questions, it’s sometimes difficult to know where to begin.

My SFM journey started with my vision to become an online entrepreneur. This led to me asking myself the following questions:

– Who is the type of person who could start up a new business?

– What skills would this person need to acquire?

– What type of investment would be needed?

The answer to all of these question are clearly laid out in the journey when you start working with them.

– You are surrounded by people who are on the same journey

– The training is completely geared around making the small changes and steps required to set up your on-line presence

– You have access to a business mentor to help you with all of the investment decisions you need to make in yourself.

The Small Wins

The key here is that the whole journey is structured around these small wins. From setting up your own Authority site, to managing your time and energy , through to getting your first sale. It’s all about the small wins

I’ve come so far along t I’m convinced that I have the tenacity and drive to achieve the success needed to assume the identity of a successful entrepreneur.

Take Action Today

If this resonates with you, I’d love to share more details of my journey.

My starting point was the Free 4 day video training provided by one of my mentors, Stuart Ross. I can get you access to these same videos to try for yourself. All I need is your email details and I’ll send you the details.

Why not give it a go?

Why is macbeth at first confident that he will survive?
ella [17]
When visits the witches a second time, they say that only when Birnam wood marches towards the castle and only man not born of woman can kill him, it's like a confident boost because these things seem impossible. However, the woods look like they move as an army approaches Macbeth's castle, and Macduff (who he is warned of) was cut from his mother's stomach, not physically born.

Hope this helps!

What are the Traits of old stormalong
nordsb [41]

Answer:

Explanation:

In the 1840s, great wooden ships known as clippers began sailing the high seas. These narrow, swift vessels were considered the fastest ships int he world. They sailed from New england ports to the West Indies, Java, China, and India, carrying furs and bringing back tea and silks. They also sailed around the tip of South America, transporting gold seekers from the east coast of America to California. When the Civil War ended, in 1865, steamships - and later, oil-burning ships - took over the work of the clippers. The days of the great wind-drive wooden ships soon came to an end.

Stormalong was first immortalized in "Old Stormalong," a popular sea chantey, or work song, sung by sailors when they weighed anchor or hoisted the sails. In 1930, in his book Here's Audacity, Frank Shay collected and retold the old yarns about Stormalong told by sailors from the old wooden ships. And a few years later, a pamphlet published by C.E. Brown brought together more of the Stormalong tales.

The story of Stormalong has since been retold a number of times. The popularity of the tale is due at least in part to the nostalgic, romantic appeal of the tall, graceful clippers and admiration for tech skill and physical courage of the sailors who piloted them. Since the fossil fuels that have driven our ships for the last hundred years are in finite supply, perhaps it is just a matter of time before the great wind-driven ships return to the sea.
