The original equation is
P=2L+2W

We will just switch the unknowns around. To find width (W), we must isolate it in the equation by moving 2L over to the other side:

P-2L=2W

(P-2L)/2=W

W=(P-2L)/2

There you go!!

kherson [118]

Thomas finished 2.4 seconds faster than Mikah which has higher speed than Mikah.

What is arithmetic?

In mathematics, it deals with numbers of operations according to the statements. There are four major arithmetic operators, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division,

Main body:

200-meter race finished by Thomas =  25.7 sec

200-meter race finished by Mikah = 28.1 sec

The difference between their time shows How much faster did Thomas run the race than Mikah.

=28.1 - 25.7

=2.4 seconds

Hence, Thomas finished 2.4 seconds faster than Mikah which has higher speed than Mikah.

Alex_Xolod [135]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Find attached:

For algebraic division use KCF method.

K - Keep the first fraction

C- Change division to multiplicatin

F -Flip the second fraction.

3) Indenty used: (a -b)² =a² -2ab + b²

Where a = m and b =2

4) Identity used: (a +b)² = a² + 2ab +b²

Where a = w and b = 1

5) Identity used: a² - b² = (a +b)*(a -b)

Where a = z and b = 2

First draw a line from c to the opposite side which is 16
So 16 is the opposite 30 is adjacent 34 is hypotenuse

Cosine is adjacent over hypotenuse 30/34 reduce by 2 2x 15=30 and 2x17=34
