Which Stanza from The Rape of the Lock by Alexander Pop indicates that the poem is meant to mock the form of the heroic epic?
mixer [17]

The first stanza of the poem, The Rape of the Lock indicates that the poem is mock-heroic. Pope establishes at the beginning that the poem mocks the heroic styles of love and war. For example, "What dire offence, from am'rous Causes spring/ What mighty Contest rise from Trivial things". The phrases, 'am'rous Causes' and 'Trivial things' indicate the mock nature of this poem.

Will give brainlisy Is this a good story started? dose it grab your attraction
Olenka [21]
Walking down the endless road to my apartment, I just couldn’t stop thinking about work. It was freezing cold and hard to see through the blizzard. The snow beneath me was like an egg shell making crunching noise at every step I took. Finally, I had reached my doorstep. As I wrapped my hand around the frostbitten doorknob, a sweep of fresh warm air thrusted past my body. Struggling, I closed the door behind me.

Hope that helps :)
